About The Project

Classic Lifts have been an award winning provider of lift installation, servicing and repair for 30 years. They supply customers across the whole of the UK from their 5 regional offices.

Over time their sales process had diverged into a number of subtly different approaches. So their management team decided to make the process more modern, consistent and transparent.

Classic Lifts reviewed various off-the-shelf CRM systems with little success. They couldn’t find a good value simple solution that fitted their business model. Everything required complex configuration changes or endless licencing costs.

As a result of this Classic Lifts asked us to develop a custom solution built to their needs. They made their decision based on our approach to delivery, professionalism and experience.

The Solution

We have developed a secure cloud ready custom solution using .NET MVC and SQL Server Express. It allows administrators, sales managers and senior managers relevant access to the system.

The administrators are responsible for the system tables and managing the other users. They do not have access to the customer or sales information. The sales managers manage their customers and sales opportunities through their sales pipeline. The senior managers have access to a dashboard. This dashboard shows the status of all sales opportunities within the system.

We delivered phase one after only 6 weeks, and it was very well received. Classic Lifts were soon to see the benefits the system brought. They quickly approved a second phase for the system to be adapted for use across all areas of the business.
